Active Fire Safety Systems for Buildings

A seminar that explains where the National Building and Fire Codes require active fire safety systems such as sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency voice communication systems, emergency power systems, exit signs and emergency lighting systems.

This seminar has been developed based on feedback from our Fire Suppression Systems:  What You Should Know About Design, Inspection and Maintenance seminar.  The Active Fire Safety Systems for Buildings seminar provides new information and addresses the fire safety systems common in buildings.

Participants will learn about:

  • The latest code requirements that define when and where you require active fire safety systems and
  • Design and installation requirements for each system.

Who Should Attend

The seminar is structured for building operators, building owners, engineers, designers, building inspectors, and fire inspectors.
